Company History: YEAR EVENTS1985 - Flex Chemicals Limited was originally incorporated as Flex Graphic Private Limited on 9th December as a Private Limited Company with the Registrar of Companies Delhi & Haryana. Subsequently the company became a Deemed Public Limited Company under Section 43A[1] of the Companies Act 1956 and the word private was deleted from its name pursuant to Section 43A[1] of the Companies Act 1956 w.e.f 30th November 1987. - The Company is engaged in the manufacture of a wide range of pouches made of flexible packaging material. The Company has facilities for the manufacture of 3325 lac pouches per annum at Noida District Ghaziabad Utter Pradesh.
1994 - The Company has also set up facilities to manufacture printing Ink and Adhesives with an installed capacity of 1620 M.T. per annum each at Phase-II Noida Distt. Ghaziabad.
- The present business of the Company is to manufacture various kinds of Pouches made of Flexible packaging materials including Stand-up Pouches and Re-closable Zipper Pouches and Printing Inks and Laminating Adhesives used in the flexible packaging industry. The Company is now setting up a project for the manufacture of PET Chips.
1995 - The Company's new project to manufacture PET Chips with an installed capacity of 50 000 Metric tons per annum (tpa) which is being set up at Malanpur in the State of Madhya Pradesh with the state-of-the-art technology and of International size is progressing extremely satisfactorily.
- The Company has set up an R&D laboratory the main focus of which has been in the field of development of new ink systems/formulations development of new types of adhesives primers resins and polymers.
1996 - The Company developed some new products such as UV Over Print Varnish Printing Ink for rigid PVC profiles and wide ranges of adhesive and related chemicals such as Primer Thinner as well as cross linking agents which have been successfully tested in their respective usage forms.
- The Company completed the Rights Issue of 1 00 92 600 No. of Equity Shares of Rs.10 each at a premium of Rs. 35 per share. The shares in the Rights Issue were allotted on 20th August.
1999 - During the year under review IFCI nominated Shri. N.K.Jain General Manager IFCI in place of Shri. C.D.Ghosh. Thereafter in July Shri. R.V. Rao Dy. General Manager was nominated in place of Shri. N.K. Jain.
2000 - The name of the company has been changed form Flex Chemicals Lt.dto FCL Technologies & Prodicts Limited w.e.f. 28th April.
- The Board of Directors have appointed Shri Ashok Chaturvedi as the Managing Director of the Company for a period of 5 years w.e.f. 1st May.
2002-FCL Technologies & Products Ltd has informed that Mr R P Agarwal has resigned from the Board of Directors with effect from October 31 2002.
