Company History: Pearl Global Limited was incorporated on 23rd October 1979 under the name Pearl Agencies Private Limited. The Company became a "Deemed Public" Company with effect from 1st July 1991 by virtue of Section 43A (1A) of the Companies Act 1956 and was converted into a Public Limited Company pursuant to special resolution passed in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting 3(1)(iii) of the Companies act 1956. The name of the Company was change to PEARL GLOBAL LIMITED on 2nd September 1993 in terms of Section 21 of the Companies Act 1956 as per fresh Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies Delhi & Haryana. 2001-Pearl Global Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company in their Board Meeting held on September 25 2001 discussed and approved the scheme of Amalgamation of Pearl Clothing Ltd Mina Exports Ltd and Pearl Jewellery (India) Ltd (Transferor Companies) with Pearl Global Ltd (Transferee Company) 2007 -Pearl Global Ltd has has appointed Dr. Vijay Chandra and Mr. Anshuman Khanna as Independent Directors w.e.f. March 23 2007. 2008 - Pearl Global Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 11 2008 has appointed Mr. Shelley Cherian as Non Executive Independent Director w.e.f. March 11 2008. |
