Company History: YEAR EVENTS1987 - The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on July 1st under the Companies act 1956 with its registered office at Hyderabad. It was converted into a Public Limited Company in terms of Special resolution dated 29th September 1989 passed under sections 31/44 of the companies Act 1956 on 09/11/1989. - The company was provided technical support in their initial endeavour by Alphageo Incorporated a company based in Houston Texas in the United States of America (USA).
- Alphageo Inc. was primarily engaged in consultancy services relating to seismic surveys and they imparted specialised training to the company's crew with regard to conducting advanced geo-seismic surveys in difficult terrains.
- Alphageo Inc. USA also participated in the initial equity of the company to the extend of Rs. 24 lacs.
1994 - The Company was the pioneer in the field of Seismic Surveys in the Private Sector. Over the years your Company has been executing these services for Oil India Limited.
- The Company has been awarded a Contract by Oil India Limited for conducting 2D Seismic Data Acquisition in the states of U.P. and Bihar.
- The Company is also evaluating the prospects for entering the International arena to render Seismic Survey Services.
- The Company inform that the public issue of 17 70 700 No. of Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each at a Premium of Rs.20/- per share aggregating to Rs.531 lakhs.
1995 - The Company was the first Indian Company which mobilised and commenced seismic surveys on contract to the petroleum industry in India against all odds with a series of path-breaking initiatives stemming from the right mix of expertise know-how and confidence.
- During the year under review the company had placed 5 63 000 shares on private basis with TDICI Mutual Funds and Promoters at a premium.
2000 - The Company has made preferential offer of 10 00 000 shares of Rs 10/- each at a premium to FIIs NRIs MFs Domestic companies etc. through private placement.
2006
-Alphageo India Ltd has appointed Mr. Ashwinder Bhel as Additional Director on the Board subject to retire by rotation to increase the stake of Independent Directors on the Board.
2008
-Alphageo India Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 11 2008 has appointed Dr. Avinash Chandra Ex-Director General of Hydrocarbons as additional Director of the Company with effect from February 11 2008.
