Company History: Pentafour Products Ltd. (PPL) was originally incorporated on 5th June 1984 as a Private limited company under the name of Swanyo Electronics Pvt.Ltd. and was converted into a public limited company on 22nd January 1990 and its name was changed to Pentafour Products Ltd. with effect from 11th April 1990 and a fresh Certificate of incorporation was obtained on that date. The main objects of the Company are to manufacture various types of air-conditioners refrigeration equipment power line equipment such as Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems (UPSS) Servo Stabilizers Constant Voltage Transformers and consumer durables like water cooler and water heater. Assembly of Air-conditioners and UPSS was undertaken by Pentafour Products Ltd. alongwith other group Companies and firms. The Company originally had its refrigeration and air-conditioning division at Madras. In May 1989 this division was shifted to Pondicherry to take advantage of various incentives and facilities offered by Pondicherry Government. The company's electronic division is situated at Madras which assembles medium capacity UPSS of upto 30 KVA servo stabilizers and constant voltage transformers. The Company was promoted by Mr.V. Vishwanathan and Mrs. Uma Ramakrishnan. |
