Company History: The Company was incorporated on 18th September 1987. The company set up a plant for the manufacture of 1400 TPA of Amino Acid Powder 84 TPA of Amino Acid (L-Cystine) and 24 TPA of Amino Acid (L-Tyrosine) With latest and proven Japanese technology. The Company manufactures processes refines sells buys exports imports and otherwise deals in organic and inorganic petrochemicals including all Amino Acids and their derivatives peptide vitamins nutrients and flavours and renders all managerial and technical services in relation to the business. The company has foreign technical collaboration with M/s Union Bros Industries Inc. Japan. The company commenced commercial production of L-Cystine with effect from 1st November 1989 and commercial production of L-tyrosine and Amino Acid powder have been commenced with effect from 1st July 1990. The factory is located on a land measuring 33 acres in Abhishegappakkam an industrially backward area near Pondicherry. 2000 - Biotan Laboratories-India part of the Chennai-based Protchem Industries-India is launching a new series of amino acide based ethical drugs. |
