Company History: The Company was incorporated on 7th April 1983 as Punjab Agro Furane Ltd. and changed its name to the present one on 19th May 1986. The Company has been jointly promoted by PSIDC Chandigarh and Oswal Agro Mills Ltd. New Delhi. The Company set up a Plant at Village Bhasaur in District Sangrur in Punjab which is 5 kms. from Dhuri Railway Junction linked to Ludhiana. The Race Mill of the Company commenced commercial production on 28th December 1987. The furfural Plant Solvent Extraction Plant and the Steamer Boiler have also been commissioned during 1988. The Company has also plans to diversify into the manufacture of furfuryl Alcohol and Furane Resins from furfural White Cement from rice hush ash and installation of Par Boiling facility in the Rice Milling Plant. |
